Overview:

The Project Manager is a dynamic and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced Development  Consulting environment. This role demands not only technical expertise and Project Management skills, but also a strong work ethic, a drive for continuous learning, and the initiative to go above and beyond expectations. The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, from initial planning to final completion, ensuring that projects are delivered with the highest standards of quality, within budget, and on schedule.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Briefing
2. Project Pre-Contract Planning & Programming
3. Contractual & documentation administration
4. Appointment & management of the Project Team (Contractors and Professional Teams)
5. Management & facilitation of design, procurement procedures, etc.
6. Management & execution of the Construction Programme
7. Ongoing Team & Client communication
8. Ongoing risk management
9. Weekly/monthly Site & Project Meetings
10. Financial, progress, reporting and co-ordination with Project Team
11. Monthly Client reporting
12. Manage Project close-out & handover

 

Qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related fields.
• At least 3  years of proven experience in the Construction/Consulting industry or Project Management.
• A self-starter with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and who takes the initiative to go the extra mile to achieve success and personal growth & development.
• An independent, mature & pro-active problem solver with strong leadership skills.  
• Attention to detail with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office software and general computer use.
• Experience in relevant software (AutoCAD, WinQS, etc.) advantageous (if applicable to individual’s background).
• Code-B Driver’s License.
