Purpose

The incumbent will ensure the accurate receipt, dispatch, and verification of goods, maintaining inventory integrity and supporting smooth warehouse or logistics operations. The incumbent will be responsible for inspecting and recording all incoming and outgoing shipments, identifying discrepancies or damages, and ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards to maintain operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The incumbent should provide exceptional levels of customer service by exceeding all expectations.

Requirements

  • Grade 12.
  • One (1) year experience as a picker or checker would be an added advantage.
  • Electrical or Solar Products knowledge would serve as an added advantage.
  • Stock management.
  • High level of accuracy.

Key Result Areas

  • Check and sign for accuracy of stock according to invoice.
  • Report discrepancies or damages to the supervisor promptly.
  • Ensure correct stock is loaded for customer.
  • Assist customers with loading of stock.
  • Assist customer with any other queries regarding collection of stock.
  • Assist with cycle counts

Personal

  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is a MUST.
  • Must be a self-starter, flexible and energetic.
  • In our fast-paced environment, the candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter, being able to work in a team and individually with the full integrity.
