Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible for driving sales and revenue of the electrical and refrigeration product lines, they will identify new business opportunities, develop new customer relationships, and maintain them. The incumbent will provide complete solutions to the customer. Additionally, they will need to stay up to date with industry trends and competitor analysis. The incumbent will be responsible to surpass and provide an exceptional customer service to current clientele.

 

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Code B Driver’s license.
  • Trade Diploma would serve as an added advantage.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in an electrical & refrigeration environment.
  • Retail experience would serve as an added advantage.
  • Excellent computer literacy capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Portuguese will be an added advantage.

 

Key Result Areas

  • Gather market intelligence, including competitor pricing, and emerging technologies in the electrical and refrigeration sector is crucial for offering complete solutions to customers.
  • Increasing the company's market share in the electrical and refrigeration industry.
  • Manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient coordination and timely delivery of products.
  • Actively take ownership of revenue targets by consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Support clients with their sale/special orders whilst analysing requirements recommended product solutions and provide quotations with accurate costing.
  • Drive sales growth by proactively identifying new business opportunities, cultivating leads, and expanding the client base through effective relationship-building and sales techniques.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients as well as develop new clientele base and ensure their ongoing satisfaction with our brand.
  • Actively manage client accounts by ensuring timely payments are made.
  • Marketing Support.
  • Participate in bi-annual stock takes.
