• Assisting the store controller with all store-related admin tasks.
• The incumbent will be responsible for daily capturing of issue notes into the ERP LN system to ensure reliable, accurate stock transactions take place as per Astral procedures.
• The incumbent will ensure proper housekeeping is maintained and is done in line with our 20 Keys Level 4 Accredited Standards in Stores.
• The incumbent will ensure that all stock/non-stock items received are done in line with store KPIs and Astral procedures.
• The incumbent will ensure that weekly and monthly stock takes are done timorously and accurately as per Astral procedures.
• The incumbent must ensure that all issuing of stock to internal customers is done correctly as per store KPIs and Astral procedures.
• The incumbent must maintain 20 keys/HACCP/risk control.
• The incumbent must be able to count stock correctly.
• The incumbent must be able to assist in stock take.
• The incumbent will ensure the inspection check sheet is done with each delivery.
• The incumbent will receive stock, which includes offloading trucks and packing of stock.
• and labeling of stock (received dates)
• The incumbent must ensure that inspections are done on the forklift.
• The incumbent must ensure inspections are done in stores.
• The incumbent will report any problems that he knows of to his superior immediately.
• The incumbent will perform his daily tasks, following the department's standard operating procedures.
• Reporting Matters:
  • The incumbent will report to the stores and warehouse controller on store-related issues.
  • The incumbent will report to the stores and warehouse controller on related matters, i.e., housekeeping, discipline 20 key, etc.
  • The incumbent will spend his time doing store-related work.
  • The incumbent will complete all tasks as directed by the stores and warehouse controller.
• Apply and enforce HACCP in the workplace.
• Apply and enforce 20 Keys in the workplace.
• Apply and enforce general housekeeping in the workplace.
• Will comply with all the food safety regulations.

Qualification and Experience

• Knowledge of packaging material and ingredients
• Be able to count stock
• Must have a valid reach truck and forklift license
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Must be able to work shifts
• At least 3 years’ experience in a store environment

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
• Must have basic computer knowledge
• Effective time management
