Required Qualification: 

  • Minimum Grade 12. 

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar environment.

Key Responsibilities of Role:

  • Stores administrator and data management.
  • Ensure receipts and goods issue of materials are compliant and completed in a timely manner.
  • Generate Goods Returns and Purchase Orders. 
  • Conduct price reasonability checks on receipt of stock.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate filing and record keeping systems.
  • Track all stock shortages and provide a full report to Stores Supervisor and MRP Planner.
  • Prepare and analyze stock age reports and proactively identify and report on overstocking, under-stocking or out of stock scenarios and raise with the MRP Planner and Store Supervisor for resolution.
  • Generate and capture cycle and stock count sheets.
  • Maintain timely input to SAP and ensure accurate stock transaction records.
  • Safeguard stock in the stores against loss and damage.
  • Comply with applicable company policies including those pertaining but not limited to health, safety, environment, risk and quality including HACCP/ISO.
  • Conduct housekeeping in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Take ownership and accountability for tasks and activities and demonstrate effective self-management in terms of planning and prioritizing and self-development. 

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of HACCP/ISO and health and safety environmental legislation. 
  • System Skills (SAP).
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills. 
  • Computer literacy (MS Office package).
  • Well developed communication skills.
  • Organizational awareness and time management skills.
