Role Purpose:

To issue and record stock items for the Packaging and Ingredients store. 

Minimum Requirements: 

Grade 12

Minimum two (2) years experience in a similar environment. 

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Highly developed sense of order.
• Be able to take initiative.
•  Accurate.
• Teamwork skills. 
• Must be multi-skilled.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Well-developed reading, listening and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities of Role:

• Help customers at the issue and receiving counter in a friendly and professional manner.
• Check signatures on SSR’s to ensure authorisation.
• Capturing of SSR’s and invoices on a daily basis.
• Assist with the loading and off-loading of both stock and non-stock items.
• Ensure that all SSR’s captured must be checked daily against Inventory Journal printout.
• Assist with quarterly stock counts.
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the stores area.
• Complete GRA’s for all returns and repairs.
• Ensure that all stock is  binned neatly and correctly on a daily basis.
• Ensure compliance with SHERQ procedures.
• Ensure that Rainbow ethical standards and the requirements of the RPM are adhered to.
• Report and or escalate any areas of non- compliance appropriately.
• Ensure team members accurately and regularly captures data onto the information system to enable access to reliable data and reporting for trend analysis and decision making.
• Share relevant data with management teams to enable reliable business decision making.
• Take ownership and accountability for tasks and activities and demonstrates effective self management in terms of planning and prioritising.
• Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of work are consistently and accurately maintained
