Role Purpose:

• ​To provide accurate and efficient support for the Supply Planner.

Main Responsibilities:

• Daily Plan vs Actual Reconciliation. (Reconcile the previous days production results for the Wolwehoek and P1 plant).
• Raw meat tracker recon and ordering of raw meat. (Reconcile the raw meat tracker on a Monday for the previous weeks
  production from the 3 primary plants. Order raw materials as per the production plan.
• Ensure Raw Meat suppliers agree on requirements in advance.
• Any changes to the plan or the raw meat volumes are communicated in time to suppliers.
• Ensure the deliverable of raw meat into the Plant are met to avoid late or short supply.
• Generate finished goods purchase orders. (Create the necessary finished goods purchase orders as per the production plan on a
  weekly basis).
• Raw meat ageing tracker.
• Record and distribute the weekly Raw Meat Ageing tracker.
• Ensure Ageing Raw Meat for both P1 and WWH is communicated to the Planner and plans to consume Ageing meat is in
  place.
• Manage quarantine stock. (Check the status of quarantined stock and highlight it to the relevant planners and QA managers).
• Woolworths Vienna/Rotisserie/Polony portal update. (Update the 3 Woolworths trackers daily and highlight any shortages to the
  planner).
• Highlight WIP daily to relevant parties for items to be closed off. (Ensure that the processing team closes of finished batch codes
  and export batches timeously).
• Compilation of Ad Hoc Spreadsheets when required.
• Support supply planner with daily tasks.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• Planning Principals.
• Supply Chain Background.
• System skills (SAP)
• Numeric skills equivalent to Grade 12.
• Well-developed reading, listening and communication skills.
• Organizational awareness.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 2-years experience in a similar environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Matric or equivalent, relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous.
