Role Purpose:

• To ensure accurate receipting and dispatching of raw materials and finished goods. 

Required Qualifications:

• Grade 12 and Computer Literate on Excel

Required Experience:

• 2 years’ experience as a weighbridge operator will be an advantage.

Required Knowledge and Skills: 

• Numeric reasoning
• Knowledge of operations of weigh bridge and completion of applicable documentation (record keeping) 
• MLI Weighbridge management solution
• SAP Orientated 

Key responsibilities of the role:

Obtain particulars of arriving client, registration number of vehicle and ascertain type of product to be weighed. Weigh load and complete all particulars on MLI Weighbridge management solution.. Data correctly captured on computer Direct client to area where product is to be offloaded. Weigh empty vehicle and obtain weigh bridge slip. Print out weigh bridge slip for driver and Siding Operator, Obtain particulars of arriving client and registration number of vehicle  Weigh empty vehicle and complete all particulars on computer system. Direct client to area where product is to be loaded. Forward copy of weigh bridge slip and sales/despatch control form to relevant person. Attached tickers on the samples. Follow procedure for bulk loading. Monthly weighbridge calibration
