Role Purpose:

• The Chicken Business is currently recruiting for 2 x Slaughterers to be based at the Chicken Processing Plant in Worcester (Western Cape) and report to Process Leader.The role will be responsible to provide the services of a Slaughterer and to ensure they comply with the Halaal Standards.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Valid RSA ID document.
• Minimum Grade 10.
• Registered with the Muslim Judicial Council.

 

Required Experience:

• At least 6-12 months experience slaughtering chicken.
• Previous work experience in poultry processing plant.

 

Required Knowledge and Skills: 

• Good hand-eye coordination and motor skills.
• Inherent requirement of the job – incumbent must be muslim.
• Physically fit and able to work in dusty conditions.
