KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develops actionable strategies and plans that ensure alignment with the Group’s short-term and long-term objectives. Plans, directs, coordinates, and oversees the People Department’s activities in the Group, ensuring development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs. Translates strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning. Monitors employee productivity, building a high-performance customer centric culture and ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met. Evaluates employee performance data by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics geared towards crafting plans to improve relevant key performance indicators. Oversees daily operations of the People Department. Advises the Group and the Board of Directors on staff reward and recognition issues. Ensures compliance with the Employment Act and other legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, advising management on needed action. Undertakes other duties as directed by the Group’s Board of Directors and/or the Group’s Executive Management in support of the Group’s strategy. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations, Industrial Psychology, or any other related field. Minimum 10 years’ post qualifications experience with at least 5 years’ experience in a senior management position. Â
