Role Purpose:

• Rainbow Chickens is looking for a Maintenance Artisan to join our Chicken Agriculture Division. We are looking for a qualified Millwright or Traded Electrician with strong Mechanical and Civil experience to join our team. The successful incumbent should have strong supervisory experience to manage a team and work closely with production team. The role will be based in Paarl, Western Cape at our Nooitgedacht Rearing & Laying farms.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Traded Millwright or Electrician with strong mechanical and civil experience
• Drivers license - code 8 or 10 (compulsory)

 

Required Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of post-trade FMCG maintenance experience
• Previous experience in poultry environment - advantage
• Repair of Agriculture related machinery and equipment
• Supervisory Experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:​

• Ability to communicate on all levels and manage a team
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Ability to work systematically.
• Ability to prioritize workload.
• Report writing and analysis.
• Mentoring apprentices.
• Must be able to work required hours and be available on callouts and standby.
