PR, Communications and Marketing Officer

Job Summary
To initiate, organize and co-ordinate Marketing and Communication initiatives in order to develop and maintain strong awareness of the firm’s products and services in the short, medium and long term in line with the objectives of the Marketing and Communication Function. The role holds the responsibility for planning, execution, optimization, maintenance, measurement and reporting of Company outward facing public relations, websites, social media, and demand generation programs to increase brand awareness and preference, generate qualified leads, improve customer service, increase e-commerce, and deepen customer engagement across all lines of business for Bifm and Bifm Unit Trusts.
Key Performance Areas
Financial:
- Manage operational budget of approximately P3.5 million.
- Manage implementation of the agreed action plan for the Marketing and Communications Department emanating from the strategic planning process.
- Generation of leads for the Bifm Unit Trusts as well monitoring of the conversion rate from campaigns, events etc
Stakeholder Management:
- Event planning and management e.g., Stakeholder engagement sessions.
- Manage media relationships
- Acts as first contact for the Chief Executive Officer’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and ensure the value add to the brand is fully exploited in such initiatives.
- Ensures all stakeholders involved in displaying the Bifm brand conform to Group guidelines.
- Liaise closely with advertising agencies/suppliers to ensure that merchandising material is produced in-line with Group brand guidelines.
- Liaise closely with advertising agencies to ensure that appropriate advertising material is developed in-line with product and brand campaigns.
- Campaign development, monitoring and conducting impact reviews of Marketing and Communication campaigns, making recommendations on future marketing interventions
People Management:
- Assist the business to drive staff engagement and delivering corporate culture change interventions.
Communication & Digital:
- Manage and enhance the public image of the firm
- Develop consistent communication tools and forums across the organization
- Manages all internal and external communications regarding brand and product campaigns.
- Manage all external and internal communication in close liaison with the Management/Exco.
- Manages the reputational risk of the company through effective communication both internally and externally.
- Conceptualize, write, prepare, and place press releases.
- Be the firm’s primary contact point for media organizations at all times.
- Lead Marketing and Communication’s day to day management and execution of social and digital media presence (Bifm website, Facebook, Twitter, You Tube and LinkedIn)
Operational:
- Coordinates and contributes to the development of marketing and communications strategy, and branding initiatives in accordance with approved marketing plans and strategies.
- Produce internal communications platforms such as newsletters
- To ensure the relevance of the firm’s website and to be responsible for keeping it updated.
- Prepares the Marketing and Communication departmental budget in conjunction with the Group Marketing Manager, Head of Client Relations & Retail Manager- Bifm Unit Trusts.
- Ensures the preparation of the annual marketing and communications plans/roadmaps.
- Prepares and executes periodic marketing campaigns (product and brand) as per the marketing campaign schedule.
- Ensures Bifm & Bifm Unit Trusts have adequate and appropriate merchandising (brochures, posters etc).
- Ensures all new or revamped products are launched effectively.
Corporate Social Responsibility:
- Develop and implement a social investment plan to support organizational goals.
- Plan and implement programs to position Bifm as a socially responsible corporate citizen.

Qualifications
- At least five (5) years experience in relationship management, communications or marketing in the financial services industry (In addition to the formal qualification).
- A Marketing & Public relations degree such as Journalism, English, Communications, or Marketing
