Role Purpose:

  • To perform a general maintenance support service to the site.

Β 

Required Qualifications:

  • N3 or equivalent (trades related) (Β± 40% Electrical and 60% Mechanical)Β would be advantageous
  • Valid Code EB Drivers’ License

Required Experience:

  • Grade 12 preferably with Mathes and Science.
  • A Minimum of N3 Technical qualification (Electrical/Mechanical Engineering) with practical experience in FMCG would be an advantage.
  • 2 years relevant experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • To perform a general maintenance support service to the site.
  • Efficient day to day running and operating of equipment.
  • Safety inspection and reporting.
  • Start up and shutdown of lines.
  • Efficiently get equipment up and running during a breakdown.
  • Maintain the status of equipment through effective service and repair.
  • Good housekeeping and familiar with health & safety and hygiene.
  • Administration of OHS Act requirements (Safety, Health. Environment, Risk and Quality (SHEQ)
  • Ensure adherence to all ISO 9001 and 22000 standards and procedures.
