Responsibilities

  • Recon cashier cash-ups and transaction slips from previous day
  • Recon Drop safe transactions against cashier drops
  • Maintain Goods receiving book – capture invoice and credit note numbers as per receiving policy
  • Keep account holder filing up to date
  • Process e-fuel payments
  • Stock counting
  • Assist cashiers with voids/customer queries
  • Maintain office supply inventory

Skills

  • Strong organisational skills
  • Problem solving ability 
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Must be able to work at least one weekend per month
  • Ability to follow existing systems
  • Mature & Honest (Will work alone at least one weekend in a month – cash office etc included)
  • Ability to work with customers
  • Own transport (Standby required for on-duty weekend)
  • Strong telephone / conversational skills
  • Computer literate 
  • Bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

Qualifications

  • Matric Certificate.
  • Microsoft Office Experience
  • Valid drivers licence

Experience

The successful incumbent will have at least one to three (1-3) years’ experience within a similar role.

Shortlisted candidates will be expected to undergo psychometric testing and background screening. Applicants who fulfil the abovementioned requirements are invited to apply for the position.
